It's large, rectangular design is perfect for holding all your treasures. Top lid is removable and features a double wall construction. Box is gold in colour, very sturdy. Many scuffs and minor dings, but clean inside. Each long side has the Gibon's name and content weight. Bottom has the company name. Made in The United States of America.
HISTORY OF CANCO: The American Can Company (ACC) Canco, as locals called it, was incorporated in 1901 and was a leader in the canmaking industry and dominated the market for decades. It was headquartered in Manhattan, New York City until 1970 when it relocated to Greenwich, Connecticut. The tin-plate trust was never as famous as Rockefeller's Standard Oil or Carnegie's United States Steel Company, yet played just as critical a part in the average everyday American household.
