Vintage Tea Caddy from Western Germany: 'SAILING SHIPS and DUTCH DELFTS-LIKE WINDMILLS', is a lovely tin in Perfect Condition, save a little light handling. The double-thick top is removable by it's handle, and the lid fits snug on the container. The lid artwork matches the image duplicated on both sides, that of a large sailiing ship of the galleon or viking type, coming ashore near dykes and windmills, and it's all very Delft-like in appearance, being a cream-coloured background with midnight blues. Some residual is inside at the bottom, but otherwise a very clean tin. The bottom is painted blue, and imprinted with "Container Made in Western Germany."
