Vintage RARE Tin Cookie Container: 'CASTLE MACKIE'S SHORTBREAD FINGERS OF SCOTLAND'
This Vintage RARE Tin Cookie Container by CASTLE MACKIE'S SHORTBREAD FINGERS OF SCOTLAND, is in Very Good Condition, with stunning large graphics on the front set against a white background. The back proudly displays their Tartan. Minimal marks, fully removable lid, clean inside. A very unique tin to display proudly just about anywhere, and considering the handsome Green & Blue Tartan, and the masculin image of an actual Castle on the Mountain, I'd say it could even display in a Man-Cave! Made in Scotland.
DID YOU KNOW? The story of shortbread begins with the medieval âbiscuit breadâ. Any leftover dough from bread making was dried out in a low oven until it hardened into a type of rusk: the word âbiscuitâ means âtwice cookedâ. Gradually the yeast in the bread was replaced by butter, and biscuit bread developed into shortbread.
