Vintage Noritake Hand Painted LEMON SERVING DISH with Loop Handle. Japan Lusterware, is a remarkable piece of vintage 1940’s lusterware, with lovely green & blue colours by Noritake…Hand Painted Lemon Serving Dish, with the famous Loop Handle. What a unique piece for your next party! Excellent condition, no cracks or chips. Please note there are two small, dark, round dots on the underside of this item that are beneath the glazed finish and were original to this piece from the manufacturing and firing process.
MARK ON BOTTOM HISTORY: Noritake M Japan mark was used since 1918. The M inside the wreath mark was used from around 1914 to 1940. Noritake stopped importing to the United States in 1940. The M stands for Morimura. (The Morimura brothers were early importers of Japanese goods to America.)
