Vintage Large Round Tin Container by PEEK FREAK BISCUITS of London, England, Featuring a Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and his Majestic Steed in Western Canada! The condition is excellent, and although a few dings and light scratches are present, this is one of the finest RCMP tins I have ever seen.
This is an excellent tin, in a large format with a removable lid, and aside from the striking image on the lid, there are another six images of the RCMP in action all around the outside of the main body of the tin, showing how they protected this new land we call Canada. The bottom displays the company information.
*But of note, the interior is oxidated and has a scent of shoe polish, because the woman who owned this had kept her polish and brush inside it since 1952, believe it or not! So, although the scent would dissipate if you left it open for a long period, I would recommend not to use this tin for cookies or cakes, thank you.
