Vintage KILLARNEY MUG, with Swiss Musical Movement by Reuge, Blue & Green Glazed by WADE of Ireland: THE FOX HUNT.
The Wade Group's Irish division, established in 1946 to produce electrical insulators after WWII, became an independent entity known as WADE Ulster, Ltd. in 1950. The company differentiated itself from its English counterpart by introducing a unique blue/green glaze marked with an Irish shamrock. The Fox Hunt mug exemplifies this distinctive glaze. It has a capacity of 10 fluid ounces and features an original sticker from the Reuge Swiss musical movement that plays "Killarney." The mug is in Excellent Condition, with no chips, cracks or repairs, guaranteed.
