This is a very RARE antique glass wine bottle, in a beautiful hunter-green colour with mottled feather design on the surface. It's unique because it has a slight flat indentation on one side of the bottle that allows it to "lay-down" on the table, presumably so it looks like a pheasant, or some other wild-fowl, that is probably being served on the dinner table. The Italian maker is unknown, but many people associate this glassware with BREVETTATA or BREVETTATO, but that would be a mistake because this word means 'patented' in Italian, and that is what's clearly stamped into the glass bottom. Perfect Condition, no chips or cracks.
BONUS: As found inside, included in your purchase is a Benedictine Wine Cork, probably not original to the bottle, but a nice old collectible in itself.
