THE CAT THAT CHANGED MY LIFE, is about how we live with the help of cats! Author Bruce Eric Kaplan captures the silly and absurd language of humans and places it in the mouths of cats, to produce hilarious comments on the way we live.
As the 50 cats come out to talk about their lives and influences, it turns out that they, in their own feline way, all have the same vanities, the same foibles, the same ambitions, and the same excuses as people. In their own words, we hear from such cats as Jelly Bean, who felt hopelessly misunderstood and alienated until she met Dorothy, a cat down the road with the same predisposition to skittishness.
THE CAT THAT CHANGED MY LIFE, is a strange and wonderful book, and will certainly please you, the cat lover, or maybe even as a truly thoughtful gift for the lady in the next apartment? Free gift wrapping is available.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Bruce Eric Kaplan, known for his distinctive, off-beat single-panel cartoons, has been a New Yorker cartoonist for more than fifteen years. He is also a television writer and was an executive producer for the acclaimed HBO series Six Feet Under, as well as a writer on Seinfeld (funnily enough, one of his most well-known episodes is one where Elaine becomes increasingly frustrated over what she takes to be an utterly nonsensical New Yorker cartoon). He has authored and illustrated seven adult titles including the cult classic The Cat That Changed My Life.
