Both of Steve Hunter’s novels begin and end at Big Lake, British Columbia. The names of the lakes are changed but the images are drawn directly from the place he has called home since 1991. As a columnist for BC Outdoors magazine, he has contributed works of short fiction that all depict life in the Cariboo.
