SEEING THROUGH IT, SEEING IT THROUGH, by Robin Molineux, is a collection of stories about how we see and what we see in all senses of that word, and touches on other ways of communicating in other species, and how that might relate to us.
There are two other themes: The first is endurance and persistence. Human history is full of enduring the unendurable and persisting no matter what the odds to good or bad ends. These are stories of people who would never appear in a history book, those people we pass every day. The second is tolerance, a virtue that can take many forms, essential if we, as a species, are to continue to exist. Tolerance can also be forced on people. They can be forced through the abuse of power to tolerate the intolerable. A seeming virtue has become an evil.
