This is one of those pieces of Canadianna that is often overlooked because it was a novelty item. But I do believe they should have been preserved, if only to show future generations that we did have good humour and a wonderful imagination. Sadly, this may be the last one on the planet as most of them ended up in landfill, especially when all the basement bars were ripped out to make way for the more genteel 'Family rooms.' So come on, giddy up, and get this one for your grandchild! Worst that can happen is you'll have his or her full attention for 15 minutes, away from the mobile phone, and actually be discussing and playing with something in your hands! Cheers, Paul.
