In the sequel, Made That Way (Oolichan, 2011), Sylvia starts her medical treatment. And in the 3rd installment, Grows That Way (Oolichan, 2012), Sylvia must accept she will need estrogen supplements to approach normalilty. This is the fourth book in the series, but can be read as a stand alone novel.
