ONE WOMAN'S VOICE, A Collection of Stories, Anecdotes, Poetry and Art, by Nadia Shworan, is indeed a delightful book. Small, compact, but full of deep feeling, humor, poetry, and hard facts.

It brings forth our empathy and our laughter. It is a book that lets us immediately, if we've lived at all, identify with the author. That's what a good book is all about.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Nadia Biagini was born in Italy, grew up on a prairie farm in southern Alberta, Canada, and graduated from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, and the University of Calgary. She married Walter Shworan, her childhood friend and together we raised two pretty wonderful boys.  She was a working mom, first, a teacher and then a school administrator in Calgary, and then she started writing (mainly happy fiction). When the family moved to Vancouver Island, she started painting (mainly happy pictures). She now has five delightful grandchildren who keep her smiling.
