OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER, Short Stories by Paul St. Pierre, was written in part as a message to descendants he will never meet, and in part to people of the western world today, who, he insists, are descending rapidly into a fascist tyranny.
"St. Pierre was in his late 70s when he wrote this collection of reflections, observations, amusements and frequent ventings. It was purportedly created for his descendants but also made available in book form for anyone who might be interested. The essays are often amusing and thoughtful in a haphazard way, sometimes of limited interest, and on a few occasions distasteful. Perhaps the most remarkable thing about them is how current his subjects remain despite the passage of 20 years since publication." -Reviewed by Mark Lisak on Goodreads.
