ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Gordon Thomas Frederick Snell, (October 1, 1932-April 29, 2026) was a British author of children's literature and scriptwriter. He was married to Irish author Maeve Binchy from 1977 until her death in 2012. He lived in the home that he shared with his late wife in Dalkey, outside of Dublin, Ireland.
ABOUT THE CARTOONIST: Christopher Terry Mosher, OC is a Canadian political cartoonist for the Montreal Gazette. He draws under the name Aislin, a rendition of the name of his eldest daughter Aislinn. Known for expressive eyes, meticulous detail, and relentless satire targeting major political figures. Authored or illustrated dozens of books, including Jean Drapeau's Baby and Aislin's Montreal Expos.
