This vintage ceramic creamer pitcher is a classic example of hand-painted mid-century Mediterranean art pottery, most likely produced between the 1950s and 1970s. The Condition is Very Good, with no major damage to the body of the creamer, but there are a few small chips on one side of the upper lip (photographs clearly show this) and it only adds to the rustic feeling of this piece and certainly doesn't diminish it's displayability. There are a few marks on the bottom but nothing that identifies the manufacturer or location.

(Note, I would normally not have a chipped piece on my site, but this one just feels so darn important I wanted to put it out there for any collectors who know what it is, and I adjusted the price considerably, thank you)

Featuring a bulbous belly, an upswept pinched pouring spout, and a small loop handle, this functional vessel was designed as a classic miniature milk jug, tea creamer, or an individual breakfast syrup server, and would look fabulous on your breakfast table!

DID YOU KNOW? The distinctive bleeding or slightly "fuzzy" blur around the dark cobalt blue brushwork occurs naturally when oxide pigments fuse into a thick, raw white tin glaze during high-temperature kiln firings. This specific style of loose, abstract floral and branchwork decoration closely mimics the traditional Antico Savona aesthetic heavily popularized by artisanal workshops in Albisola Mare and Savona (Liguria, Italy), though similar rustic tableware variations were also crafted throughout Spain and Portugal.
