This Mid-Century Dybdahl Denmark bird-shaped salt cellar or egg cup from the 1960s was hand-painted by Danish studio potters Palle and Margrethe Dybdahl. It appears to be in excellent condition, though it’s worth checking the photographs of the tail tip to see if it was crafted that way or if it’s a chip. This rustic charming ceramic piece is shaped like a young bird, with a pointed beak, painted eyes, and earthy stoneware glazes typical of mid-century Scandinavian studio pottery. Made in Denmark.
Size: 1.5 inch opening, 2.75 inch wide, 1.25 inch high
