ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Nancy LaVerne (Palmer) Hussey was born and raised in Middleton, NS, and being a spirited storyteller, has always felt a very close connection to her family history, ancestors and the spectacular Annapolis Valley Nova Scotia. Her historic home on the Avon River in Hantsport is filled with many family heirlooms, collectibles and antiques. Nancy's artistic talent is used to illustrate her valley heritage through water colours, oils and acrylics. This is her first book, and it was a labour of love in honour of her mother Grace.
