Comox Valley artist Brian Scott is known for colorful expressionist landscape and coastal painting. ‘Skiing on the Island’ was created as a fundraiser for the Vancouver Island Mountain Centre. The book contains 40 images from Mount Washington Alpine Resort, Paradise Meadows and Strathcona Prov. Park. The book offers one story per painting. 'Stories of Arizona' was created from Brian's winter home in Arizona, where he would come back to Canada in the spring bubbling over with stories of the Southwest. The landscapes and desert sunsets were especially dazzling to the youthful Scott.
