This Antique Sterling Silver and Clear Glass Rouge Pot features a removable sterling silver top, which is held in place by friction fit due to the absence of a screw thread. The lid, slightly worn, still showcases a beautiful patina and a timeless hand-embossed design of three flowers. The glass base is notably old, characterized by its thickness and weight. Despite a few chips along the lower edge, they have been smoothed over time, indicating their age. The top is engraved with 'SSS' and an arrow through the three S's, and 'Sterling' (See last photo below). Neither piece bear a company mark, suggesting it was likely Made in England.
