This ANTIQUE COOKIE or CAKE CONTAINER is rudimentry in design due to it's age, but it's authentic. The square removable lid features hand-turned corners, and a simple border embossed dual line, both making this tin very sturdy. The bottom features rolled-top edges. The lid fits snug and the inside and outside are very clean. Condition is considered Very Good for a 'Working-Mans-Tin' such as this, and the silver patina and wear-pattern is stunning. No company name or place manufactured, but for sure made in England.
