ANTIQUE 10 INCH HAND PAINTED STONEWARE PLATE, Wall Display Ready in Pewter Frame and Brass Wire Holder, #5004 by Francois Brassac of France. This is of the Collection Premier Series, Product Number 5004. Titled along the bottom of the painting "KRUSENSTERN (ex PADUA)" and depicts a splendid 4-mast sailing ship. Made in France. 

DID YOU KNOW? Kruzenshtern or Krusenstern, is a four-masted barque that was built in 1926 at Geestemünde in Bremerhaven, Germany, and originally named Padua (named after the Italian city).  She was surrendered to the USSR in 1946 after WW11 as war reparation, and renamed after the early 19th-century Baltic German explorer in Russian service, Adam Johann von Krusenstern (1770–1846). She is now a Russian sail training ship.
