McVITIE & PRICE BISCUIT COMPANY: A Large Silver Antique Biscuit Tin Container that is a wonderful workhorse of a tin. Tin walls are fully wrapped along top edge, with one wall embossed '1-2'. The removable Rectangular lid is embossed with 'McV&P', and a unique design makes it also fit onto the bottom of the tin. The box construction also features folded inside edges with rolled corners. Box Base is applied separately and is embossed with '1/6 McV&P'.
This amazing tin is in great condition, no rust, plenty of patina, tons of wear, and many more years of solid faithful service still remains! As simple as it looks, this tin is truly a piece of art!
