Queen Elizabeth II CORONATION SOUVENIR TIN from June 2nd 1953, by the Famous CADBURY BROTHERS
CADBURY BROS. LTD., Q.E.II CORONATION SOUVENIR TIN from June 2nd, 1953, is a Regal Antique Tin from the famous Cadbury Brothers, featuring HRH QEII's portrait front and center. This tin is stunning in deep vivid purple-blues, gold and silver highlights. Clean graphics, clear colourful top, slightly scuffed bottom, and working hinged lid. Made in England.
BONUS: There's a million uses for all old tins, and the previous owner stored her antique 'Tiddleywinks' in this one! (included of course in your purchase of this tin). And for the younger viewers...TIDDLYWINKS is a game played on a flat felt mat with sets of small discs called "winks", a pot, which is the target, and a collection of squidgers, which are also discs. Players use a "squidger" to shoot a wink into flight by flicking the squidger across the top of a wink and then over its edge, thereby propelling it into the air. Easy Peasey eh?
