Part of the Heroes of the War of 1812 series. The great Shawnee Chief Tecumsehs life (c.1768-1813) has fed the imagination of scholars, artists, and poets for 200 years, and his death immortalized him as a legendary Canadian hero.

DID YOU KNOW? Tecumseh was a prominent Shawnee chief and warrior who became a leader in the early 19th century. He is best known for forming a confederacy of Native American tribes to resist U.S. expansion and for his alliance with the British during the War of 1812, where he was killed in battle in 1813. The name "Tecumseh" means "shooting star" or "panther crouching in wait".
