This is an antique Hand-Made Tobacco Humidor, constructed of Tin & Wood, and has an amazing illustration entitled, 'TWO WOMEN FISHING THE RIVIERA' Extremely Rare, appears all Hand-Made, with a French, Italian, or Greek Riviera theme/scene? Truly one-of-a-kind. All Double Walled construction, Brass Hand-Nailed. Wood Framed, Embossed Tin-Wrapped, Heavy Weight. And the stunningly beautiful, vivid, fluid-movement of the illustration looks like it's made of silk.
This is certainly one of the most puzzling, and most beautiful, tins in my entire collection. I have had it put away for many decades, and was so surprised when I unwrapped it recently. (I do believe it's a Humidor...your thoughts?)
