He is shipwrecked and becomes a castaway who spends years on a remote tropical island near Trinidad. He meets cannibals, captives and mutineers, and is eventually rescued.
This is a Rainbow Classic book aimed at middle-school youth. The Illustrations by Roger Duvoisin are stunning watercolours, all in full-colour and several are full-page illustrations.
