An Antique Hand-Tinted Photograph by F.E. Garrett: SWIRLING WATER, SAINT JOHN, New Brunswick, is a rare scene famous only to St. John, New Brunswick; the swirling waters of The Reversing Falls! This early century hand-tinted water view of Crow and Middle Islands is in excellent condition, and is crisp, beautifully composed, and vivid in colour. Mounted to a single embossed matte, and pencil titled and signed by the artist, F.E. Garrett. The original dustcover on the back is intact but opened along the top-edge. There is also the original Black & Gold sticker for Garrett's Photo Supply Company of St. John, NB., still on the back dust cover.
