'BUTZE RAPIDS' is a Vintage Hand-Coloured Photo by D. Wrathall of Prince Rupert, British Columbia. A nice 'action shot' of Butze Rapids, with hand-tinting in muted aqua-blues over sunrise yellows. Photo is attached onto a double embossed matte, with a light-blue coloured inner-border. Minor gold finish flaking off the frame along the top inside edge. . Original sealed dustcover on the back, and stamped "Wrathalls Photo Finishing".

ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAHER:In 1908, William W. Wrathall opened a photography business in Hazelton, B.C., and in 1912 moved his business to Prince Rupert. His son, Jack, carried on the family business as Wrathall Photofinishing Ltd. in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Canada.
