Lined in Red satin. All in excellent condition. 

This vintage coin set celebrated the 100th Anniversary of Mr. John McIntosh's famous apple, and everything this family did for Canada.  

The 1996 Canadian Silver Dollar celebrates the discovery of the McIntosh apple. Today's popular McIntosh apple owes its success to the efforts of three generations of the McIntosh family. John McIntosh, immigrating to Canada in 1796, discovered the original tree. His sons and grandson oversaw the transformation of the McIntosh from a locally celebrated apple to an important commercial orchard fruit
