Jean-Luc Pepin, an old friend of my father, Frank (THE Cartographer!) was the Minister of Industry, Trade and Commerce that published this Car Travel Guide in the early 70's. The book and maps were designed to get people OFF the Trans Canada Highway, and back onto the side-roads and small towns. Published in a large format size of 7 x 9 inch, with 144 pages, cardboard covers, and the front has a fold-out map. There are detailed excursions that covers every province and many towns and cities along the way. Lot's of maps and some wonderful vintage full-colour photos! Great condition, no rips or writing inside or out. Some minor cover wear, but someone has used this book very carefully, and certainly it's travelled coast-to-coast! It will display beautifully in your man cave, garage, or car. Made in Canada.
