2026 Canadian 50th Anniversary of the CN TOWER Commemorative Collector Keepsake Card, Featuring DOUBLE TOONIES! One non-colourized, other GLOW-IN-THE-DARK!!!
With this Commemorative Collector Keepsake Card, you get both versions of the 50th Anniversary of the CN Tower coin—struck and colour with glow—in one complete set!
The 2026 $2 commemorative circulation coin celebrates Canada’s tallest freestanding structure on the 50th anniversary of its official opening. The colourized edition is only the second glow-in-the-dark Canadian circulation coin. Both versions, however, showcase the same engraved view of Toronto’s evolving skyline, unmistakably defined by Canada’s National Tower—a world-famous landmark that continues to shine brightly in the hearts and minds of Canadians.
Reaching for the sky: A two-coin celebration of Canada’s tallest icon. Conceived by visionary architects and engineers as a bold answer to a telecommunications challenge, the CN Tower emerged as both a triumph of engineering and a modern architectural wonder. In just over two years, more than 1,500 workers—rotating through 24-hour shifts, five days a week—completed the concrete form, topping it with a massive steel mast that brought its height to a whopping 553.33 metres (1,815 feet, 5 inches), making it the world’s tallest freestanding structure from 1976 until 2007.
Own both versions of the $2 coin
Each Commemorative Collector Keepsake Card contains two (2) uncirculated coins: a struck (engraved only) $2 50th Anniversary of the CN Tower coin, and a colourful glow-in-the-dark version.
Day and night
