THE BRITISH ISLES, A Cunard White Star Travel Guidebook to England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, 1940's, is a British Isles Guidebook and is the original booklet published by The Travel Association of Great Britain, with the addition that the famous cruise ship company CUNARD printed their name on the front and back cover, probably as a give-away for their on-board sailing passengers, or to recruit new customers. It is in excellent condition, no tears, no rips, no marks of any kind inside or out. The booklet has obtained an over-all yellowing patina, although the print and all the stunning Black & White photos inside are white and crisp. Made in Great Britain.
