2017 North Island Hospital Campbell River and District Commemerative Full-Colour Enamelled Coin by Sharkz Custom Designed Coins. Coin is in EXCELLENT Condition, and presented in a flip-open vinyl display pouch.

The North Island Hospital, Campbell River and District campus, officially opened on September 10, 2017. It replaced the original Campbell River and District General Hospital, with its Emergency Department beginning to accept patients the same day! The new hospital is a 95-bed facility designed to serve the communities of Campbell River and surrounding areas.

*The sister campus in the Comox Valley opened shortly after, on October 1, 2017.
