2005-P CANADIAN QUARTERS, Year of the Veteran, Brand New Uncirculated Full Roll of 40 each. Canada has a long history of respect for our war veterans, and truly can we do enough for them? The Royal Canadian Mint paid a special tribute to these veterans in 2005, with their release of this Year of the Veteran 25-Cents Original-Wrapped Roll of quarters.
The roll contains 40 pieces of 25-cent uncirculated coins featuring a powerful image created by E. Gobel. This image depicts two veterans of diverse generations that are joined by the love of country. The reverse side, designed by Susanna Blunt features Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in right profile at 77 years old, surrounded by the Latin inscription ELIZABETH II D. G. REGINA.
