This special souvenir coin was struck by the Royal Canadian Mint, for the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops, to commemorate the Pastoral visit of Pope John Paul II to the people of Canada, and specifically the Papal visit to the Canadian National Capital Region in Ottawa-Hull, Canada, September 19-20, 1984.
Coin, and the double-sided imprinted cardboard holder, is sealed in a heavy plastic sleeve, and are in MINT CONDITION. Coins were packaged by Forever Plastics Corp. of Ottawa, Ontario. Price is for ONE COIN.
