1976 Montreal Canadian Olympiad XXI $5.00 Pure Silver Coin. This is the 1973 Double-Struck Proof Canadian $5 Coin that celebrated the upcoming 1976 Montreal Olympics. Map of Canada is visible on one side, and the Queen's effigy is on the reverse.
This is the 4th coin in a series of 28 that highlighted geographical points and events in Canada. This one is KINGSTON, ONTARIO, where the Yachting events will be held in 1976.
RARE: Packaged in an air-tight capsule, and mounted in a fold-over black plastic display case featuring the Olympic logo, COA (Certificate of Authenticity) and a fold-out Info sheet. Coin is in MINT Condition, with minor scuffing on the plastic capsule. Photos are the actual coin for sale.
