It was actually made in Canada many decades ago, and obviously pre-cell phone time period. (Yes, kids, once upon a time we didn't all have our phones in the back pocket of our jeans!) This gadget was kept beside the phone (available in matching colours) and to make it work, you just adjusted the sliding dial to the first letter of the persons name you wanted the phone number for, and poof, once you hit the bar the lid opened up to page you required. BRAND NEW CONDITION, and the outer packaging is still in excellent condition too. Made in Canada.
