1964 CANADA 6-COIN PURE SILVER PROOF SET. These coins are still in MINT CONDITION as originally packaged by the Royal Canadian Mint. Sealed pliofilm packaging, original envelope and the COA/info sheet is included. Coins represented are $1, 50 cent, 25 cent, 10 cent, 5 cent, and penny coins.

1964 was the celebration of the Centennial of the 1864 Meetings in Charlottetown, PEI and Quebec City, QC. The Silver Dollar design depicts, conjoined within a circle, the French fleur-de-lis, the Irish shamrock, the Scottish thistle and the English rose.

In 1964 Canada celebrated the 100th anniversary of Charlottetown by issuing a commemorative Silver Dollar. In Canada they issued these silver dollars both for circulation and for collectors. You have the arms of Charlottetown on the reverse and the bust of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. The Canadian Proof Like Mint Set is minted by the Royal Canadian Mint. It comes with 6 coins that are uncirculated Canadian coins in which 4 are made with 80% silver 20% copper alloy. This product contains approximately 1.11 troy ounces of fine silver.

Composition: 80% SILVER IN 4 COINS: $1, 50¢, 25¢, 10¢. Nickel is nickel, penny is copper.
