1940 Mini Thrilling Detective Story Book: 'The Radio Adventures of ELLERY QUEEN in The Adventure of The Last Man Club'. The condition is better than average for its age. There is minor wear at the spine-end of the cardboard cover, the cover and pages show age-related yellowing, and there is some foxing on the outer edges of the pages. Owner's name inside in red colouring pencil, and a pencilled price. Aside from these issues, it's a well-preserved, clean original copy from 1940.
DID YOU KNOW? Ellery Queen was a pen name created and shared by two cousins, Frederic Dannay (1905-1982) and Manfred B. Lee (1905-1971), as well as the name of their most famous detective. Born in Brooklyn, they spent forty-two years writing the greatest puzzle-mysteries of their time, gaining the duo a reputation as the foremost American authors of the Golden Age “fair play” mystery.
