2003 Canadian 8-Coin Proof Double Dollar Set: COBALT SILVER STRIKE 100th Anniversary Silver Dollar.  The coins are packaged in an elegant book-style green-leather case, with removable lens, COA (certificate of authenticity) and the original Royal Canadian Mint outer cardboard box. All in excellent condition.

This 2003 prestige proof set features the absolute best-quality coins and presentation produced by the Royal Canadian Mint, and this 2003 proof set features both the commemorative silver dollar and the Loonie.

Four of the coins (5¢, 10¢, 25¢ and 50¢) are struck in sterling silver and the two-dollar coin features a 24-karat gold plated inner core. The silver dollar marks the 100th anniversary of the cobalt discovery and is made of pure fine silver. All of the coins are double-struck with a frosted cameo finish.   

Silver Dollar is 99.99% Fine Silver. $2 Toonie features a gold-plated inner core. All other coin composition, except the loonie and penny, are 92.5% silver, 7.5% copper.
