Very Good condition HARDCOVER Book, very clean inside, tight spine, seems unread. Minor wear to book edges, shelf marks on bottom. Poor Condition Dust Jacket, major handling wear as photos indicate, including sun fade, cracks, tears. Bonus: Jacket is not clipped, and there is the original CBA/IBY Book Award Winner 1971-1972 sticker on the cover.

LIVES OF GIRLS AND WOMEN, is the only novel from Alice Munro, the award-winning author of The Love of a Good Woman, and it is an insightful, honest book that is 'autobiographical in form but not in fact' that chronicles a young girl's growing up in rural Ontario in the 1940s.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Alice Ann Munro, nรฉe Laidlaw, is a Canadian short-story writer who is widely considered one of the world's premier fiction writers. Munro is a three-time winner of Canada's Governor General's Award for fiction. Her stories focus on human relationships looked at through the lens of daily life. She was the winner of the 2013 Nobel Prize in Literature.
