2006 Canada 7-Coin Specimen Set: SNOWY OWL. Packaged in an elegant book-style RMC Maroon Leather case, with removable lens, COA and original RCM outer black box. All in excellent condition.

This coin displays the magnificent snowy owl as it spreads its wings on the limited-edition one-dollar coin, as featured in the 2006 Canadian Specimen Collector Set. The finish on these coins is a combination of brilliant and frosted relief, on a lined-finish background.

The largest bird species in the arctic, Nyctea scandiaca is also one of the most beautiful birds in North America. Its predominantly white plumage embodies the splendour of winter.

All coin composition is nickel, brass, or copper.
