If you get the chance, do visit Ucluelet's Wild Pacific Trail. Highly recommended is the easy 2.6 km Lighthouse Loop Trail, and it's free, safe, enjoyable, and absolutely magnificent!

The Wild Pacific Trail in Ucluelet, BC, is a stunning coastal walk with sections like the easy Lighthouse Loop, Artist's Loop, and Big Beach to Rocky Bluff Trail, offering rugged West Coast views, interpretive signs, and chances to see wildlife like bears (especially at low tide), all accessible from near town or resorts. It's a key part of the region's outdoor experience, with main access near Amphitrite Lighthouse.
