The Budapest Mug is a 2017 release from Starbucks’ You Are Here series, in mint condition with no chips or cracks, though it has a small black spot that might be a manufacturing flaw. It showcases an image of Budapest, the capital and largest city of Hungary. In 1873, three towns along the River Danube—Buda, Óbuda (Old Buda), and Pest—were merged to create Budapest. The inside of this mint-condition mug is painted a sunny morning yellow, while the exterior features a muted pastel contemporary design depicting the following sights:

– Buda Castle – is a historical palace completed in 1265 which is a part of the Budapest World Heritage Site
– Millennium Underground Railway aka Line 1 (Budapest Metro) – is the oldest subway line in mainland Europe
– Hungarian Parliament Building – one of Europe’s oldest legislative buildings and a popular tourist destination. It was completed in 1904. Interesting fact: this is still the tallest building in Budapest.
– Hősök tere (Heroes’ Square) – another World Heritage Site well known for its complex featuring the Seven Chieftains of the Magyars and other important national leaders, as well as the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
