WALK VICTORIA, Crouch's self-published guide is filled with 50 urban and suburban walks throughout Victoria and the area, and they are modelled on the unpretentious walking guides similar to the Lake District of England guides.

All the long tours in this book the author has completed more than once. As a competitive athlete, John has won both the Canadian Masters long distance triathlon and duathlon championships, and won the World Endurance Duathlon championship in the 60 - 64 age group. 

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: John lives in Victoria with his wife Lorinda. Besides riding his bike, he enjoys walking in his local neighbourhood and hiking in the hills surrounding the city. He has written five other books: Walk Victoria; Hike Victoria; Bike Victoria; Cycling the Islands, and a cycling memoir called 'Six Highways to Home'.
